Board of Advisors

Built by people who do the work.

MHP measures the whole athlete: body, mind and heart. The people who guide it work in each of those lanes every day, on a high school sideline, in a weight room, in an operating room, in a clinic, in the business of building companies and in the business of breaking into systems so ours holds. Nobody on this page is a figurehead.

The sideline
A head coach who ran the first version inside his own program and still does.
The weight room
A performance coach who tests the numbers MHP tracks, in college, military and high school settings.
The operating room
An orthopedic sports surgeon who decides when an athlete is ready, and when he is not.
The clinic
A pain and regenerative physician moving patients from one-time procedures to long-term health.
The boardroom
A payments entrepreneur and investor who has built, funded and sold companies for thirty years.
The security desk
A security director who runs risk assessments, audits and penetration tests for a living.

Leadership

Two teammates from Parkview Baptist who have sharpened each other since their playing days. One builds programs. One treats people.

David Simoneaux is the head football coach at Central High School in Baton Rouge and the athletic director for the Central Community School System, a role that covers every sport in the district. He has been a head coach since 2015: six seasons at Catholic of Pointe Coupee, then two at Catholic High School of Baton Rouge, where his teams went 24-3 and won the 2021 Division I Select state championship. He returned to Central, where he coached from 2010 to 2015, in December 2022.

He is the co-author of Hero Makers (American Real Publishing) and co-creator of the Heroes Mindset coaching curriculum. MHP began as the player development system he ran inside his own program. Central was its first pilot and is still the program it is measured against.

He then moved into the tactical setting: as a contracted strength and conditioning coach for the United States Navy he trained Navy SEALs, and as a strength and conditioning specialist with the United States Air Force he trained F-16 and F-35 pilots.

At Central he enters strength and speed for football, baseball and basketball on MHP himself, so the KPIs the platform tracks come from the coach who tests them.
